What sizes are available?

Pot sizes vary depending on the collection and design. The available size and measurements will be shown on each individual product listing, so please check these before ordering. Our standard pot sizes are:

1. Small: 11cm dia.
2. Midi: 13cm dia.
3. Medium: 15cm dia.
4. Large: 23cm dia.
5. XXL: 35.7cm dia.

How do made-to-order Sista pots work?

With a made-to-order Sista pot, you choose the pot size, the Sista face and the lipstick colour. The headwrap fabric is selected by SoilSista. We select it at random but always aim to choose a fabric that compliments the overall look of your Sista. Because each pot is decorated by hand, there may be slight differences in fabric placement and finish.

Do you offer custom orders?

Yes. Custom orders give you much more control over the final design. You can mix and match distinctive features to create your own Sista. For example, the lips from one Sista with the nose or other features from another. You can also customise details such as lipstick colour, glasses colour, accessories and headwrap fabric.

Can I add a personalised message or detail?

Yes. Selected pots can be personalised for an additional cost. This could include a name, door number, short message, or other small details. Available options will be shown on the product listing, or you can contact us if you have something specific in mind.

Will my pot look exactly like the photo?

If you are buying a ready-to-post pot, you will receive the actual finished pot shown in the listing unless stated otherwise. Made-to-order pots are based on the Sista face and options you select, but the headwrap fabric is chosen by SoilSista. As each pot is decorated by hand, there may also be small differences in fabric placement and finish.

Custom orders are created using the individual features, colours and details agreed with you before we begin.

How long will my order take?

Ready-to-post items have already been created and therefore will usually be sent out within 2 - 3 days. Made-to order, personalised, and custom pieces need a little extra time to create and are usually posted within 5-7 days.

Are SoilSista pots handmade?

Our terracotta pots come from a supplier, then each one is sealed, decorated, and finished by our very own hands! Because every pot is individually decorated, there may be slight differences in fabric placement, colour or detailing. These little variations are part of what makes each piece unique.

Do the pots come with plants?

Unless stated otherwise in the product listing, plants are not included. This means you can style your pot with your favourite real plant, artificial plant, flowers or use it for something completely different.

Can I use a real plant in my pot?

Yes. We recommend keeping your plant inside its original nursery pot and placing that inside your SoilSista pot. Remove the plant for watering, allow it to drain fully, then place it back inside. This helps protect the decorated pot from excess water.

How should I care for my pot?

SoilSista pots are decorative pieces and should be handled with care. Avoid soaking them or leaving them in prolonged contact with water. Gently dust or wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. We do not recommend fully submerging them in water or putting them in a dishwasher.

Can I use my pot for something other than plants?

Absolutely. They can also be used to hold things such as makeup brushes, pens, utensils, artificial flowers, or anything else that works for your space.

Are SoilSista pots suitable for gifts?

Yes. Our pots make lovely gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, Mother’s Day, new homes, friendship gifts, thank-yous or simply because. Selected designs can also be personalised to make them even more special.

Do you sell at markets and events?

Yes. SoilSista attends selected markets, fairs, and events throughout the year. Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming dates and locations.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, selected SoilSista products are available for small-batch wholesale orders. If you are interested in stocking SoilSista, please get in touch (soilsista1@gmail.com) with the products and quantities you are interested in.
